St. Anne's (Hannah's) Feast Day

Today, on the feast day of St. Anne—also known as Hannah/Anna—we honor her incredible legacy as the mother of Mary Anna (Mother Mary), and grandmother of Yeshua, known to many as Jesus. Although Anna isn’t mentioned in the canonical Bible, a portion of her story is found in the Gospel of James.

However, I believe that as we awaken to our remembrance of our own creator energy—and delve into the knowledge of the Gnostic writings—we become more aware of the profound role that Anna played in shaping her family into the Masters that they were.

To me, Anna is the high matriarch of this divine lineage—the one who took on the sacred responsibility to train her lineage so that the Christ consciousness to would be made manifest through Yeshua and Mary Magdalene. Her legacy is one of surrender, perseverance, and a love that transcends all boundaries.

When we connect with Anna’s presence, whether through meditation or reflection, there’s an overwhelming sense of deep and enduring love—love without reservation, without judgment. It’s a warm, embracing energy that feels so pure it can bring tears to one’s eyes. It’s no surprise that she is often called upon for protection over new mothers, pregnancy/labor support, grandmothers, and homemakers. She is all those things and more. She’s a guide, a support, a loving presence, and a teacher. All one must do to access her is ask.

I reach out to her when I need clarity in the midst of confusion, and I often feel as if she arrives as a cool breeze. In my heart, she is my sister and friend.
